The Flower of Life is one of the fundamental sacred geometry shapes. The Flower of Life starts with the Seed of Life shape: 7 overlapping circles that build outward, forming a flower-like pattern that has been used since ancient times in many cultures around the world. Said to be the basic template for everything in existence; all geometric forms can be found within it, including sacred geometry shapes like the Platonic Solids, Metatron’s Cube, and the Merkaba. The petal-like shape created where two circles intersect is called the Vesica Piscis. This contains the geometry for the square root of 2, 3, and 5, with the square root of 5 being the source geometry of Phi, the Golden Mean.

The Flower of Life starts with the Seed of Life (7 circles) and then adds 12 circles around it, making the 19 circle Flower of Life.

Flower of Life – 61 Circles

Contains the Fruit of Life and basis for Metatron’s Cube

The Flower of Life pattern can expand outward beyond the initial 19 circles indefintely. The next significant outward expanding version of the Flower of Life consists of 61 circles.  This version is significant because it contains the 13 circle Fruit of Life, which forms the basic pattern for Metatron’s cube  – the Fruit of Life 13 circles with the center of each circle connected to every other circle.

The sacred geometry of the Flower of Life is fundamental to the structure of physical reality.  As such, just seeing the Flower of Life creates a deep resonance with our inner essence.  Meditating on the Flower of Life structures orderliness in our consciousness.
